christians Come Out of Closet in Favor of “Fag-Killers”

I just finished reading a letter written to U.S. Senators from Daniel–the friendly gentlemen who recently commented on one of my posts saying that homosexuality was harmful (presumably unlike war & poverty) and unnatural (presumably unlike believing in mythical gods who will rescue us from the idea of death). Daniel is against the Matthew Sheppard Act for the simple reason that Sheppard’s murderers themselves were actually punished.

Shepard suffered a fracture from the back of his head to the front of his right ear. There were over a dozen small lacerations all over his head and face and neck. He had severe brain stem damage, which affected his body’s ability to regulate heart rate, body temperature and other vital signs.

Those of us who are NOT under the influence of sick bibles shudder at the disturbing and brutal nature of Shepard’s murder, whereby he was pistol whipped and left tied to a fence in the middle of nowhere, and did not actually die until five days after his attack. The “jesus Hates Fags” Right, on the other hand, apparently sees no difference whatsoever between the way Shepard suffered and your garden variety bullet to the head. To the “jesus Hates Fags” Right, the true victims here are the killers themselves.

Hmm… I never thought of it that way. In other words, it never dawned on me that the “jesus Hates Fags” Right was so PRO-hate crimes that they’d be writing to their senators on behalf of hateful murderers. Looks like I’ll have to write some letters myself to counterbalance the detrimental effect the “jesus Hates Fags” Right has on our society. Oh, wait, that’s right–anyone who actually believes our senators bother to read the tens of thousands of letters we send them on a daily basis is truly delusional. So not writing a letter to a senator has the exact same effect as writing one. Good thing I’ve read more than one book in my life–now I can go watch college football.

WOW….. This is a horrible tragedy that has occured. As a christian I feel this is wrong and indecent. Heck….. as a human being i find this kind of thing repulsive. Killing that boy was undoubtbly the stupidest thing someone could do. Jesus also says let those who are without sin cast the first stone. This means that killing this poor child was wrong regardless of one’s beliefs

Actually, I opposed Matthew Sheppard Act because it is not constitutional. It makes special laws for a special interest group because they have millions of corporate dollars backing their unconstitutional agenda. In effect, the Sheppard Act punishes murders twice for the same crime., one because murder and the again because their was hate toward a member of the special group. The Sheppard Act does cover all people. Besides, all premeditated murders are motivated by hate. Your evaluation of my letter to US Senators is as unjust as the Matthew Sheppard Act.

The only thing I have to say is that I have hopes that all hate-mongers will get exactly what they deserve. In regards to the Matthew Shepard case, Aaron McKinney, the scumbag who killed Matthew didn’t get what he deserved. hating homosexuals is no excuse for murder, and he should be beaten and killed in prison the same way his victim died. Period! The bible says “an eye for an eye.”
